What’s My Long Ass Story?

I LOVE shooting! But first, how I got here:

I’ve spent more than 25 years in front of audiences on stage, on television and films. I’ve enjoyed the past 14+ years behind the scenes as director, choreographer, producer and assisted casting for television and film.

So when it comes to great headshots that STAND OUT, I’ve seen and experienced first hand what works- and what doesn’t.

Basically: I combine my love for people with my entertainment experience in dance, film & fashion, with my love for capturing people’s personality digitally. BAAAM!

I’m mostly self-taught and keep up with the times, tools and technology. I’m a Canon camera user with unique lenses, studio lighting and other toys, but I keep it simple.

I don’t need to brag about lens length. It’s not the size of your tool, it’s how you use it. 😉

Because of my years in the entertainment biz I’ve developed a unique intuitiveness. Many professional headshot photographers are mechanical and unimaginative, which is fine when shooting say, automobiles for a magazine or website.
